In the department of "Protection" of Samarkand city, a round table was organized under the slogan "Drug Addiction is the plague of the century", in which the personnel of the department took part. During the event, it was emphasized that narcotic drugs lead to psychological and physical deterioration of a person's condition.

At the same time, experts noted that greater vigilance should be exercised in order to avoid unpleasant situations, such as an attempt to smuggle drugs into protected facilities, carefully inspect personal and other belongings of citizens, workers and employees at each checkpoint.

In addition, it was noted that the suppression of illicit trafficking of narcotic substances, which are trying to distribute in various forms, requires great attention from each employee, responsible service, conscientious performance of their duties.
