In memory of this tragic date, the Directorate of Protection of the Republic of Karakalpakstan hosted a spiritual and educational round table on the topic "Victims of repression - patriots of the nation".

The event was attended by A. Kudiyarov, Director of the Museum of Memory of Victims of Repression at Berdakh Karakalpak State University, Candidate of Historical Sciences. He provided the staff with a detailed account of the life and activities of the repressed citizens, their contribution to the development of the country.

At the end of the round table, the participants visited the Museum of the Memory of the Victims of Repression, where the museum specialists conducted a guided tour for them. The guests got acquainted with the exposition dedicated to the fate of the repressed, their way of life and contribution to the development of the state. Special attention was paid to modern work on the preservation of historical memory and the study of the heritage of these people.

During the meeting, the experts received comprehensive answers to all their questions, which allowed them to better understand the tragic events of the past and their significance for the modern history of the country.
