A military-patriotic festival for pupils and unorganized youth under the slogan "I am the pillar of my Homeland" was held in the New Uzbekistan Park in Davlatabad district of Namangan region. The main purpose of the event is to strengthen the feelings of love and devotion to the Motherland in the hearts of young people, as well as to spend their free time usefully.
At the festival, the children were presented with demonstration performances by National Guard officers and an exhibition of military equipment. The special atmosphere of the event was given by melodies performed by a military band. As part of the festival, participants were also able to test their archery skills.
Similar events are held in remote areas of our republic. In particular, at school № 31 in Khojaabad district of Andijan region, employees of the regional Directorate of "Protection" of the National Guard and together with other partner organizations conducted sports competitions among students.
During the event, boys and girls competed in chess, checkers, table tennis, tug of war and archery. During the spectacular competitions, the guys demonstrated not only their level of physical fitness, but also their solidarity and team spirit.
