On October 13 of this year, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of legislation in the fields of ecology and public order protection", adopted on July 11, 2023, came into force. In this regard, the National Guard bodies have been given a number of powers and specific tasks have been defined. In order to inform citizens about the essence and content of this law, the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a competition "The best press service" among military personnel and employees on the topic "Prevention of offenses in the field of ecology and environmental protection".
The competition was attended by military personnel and employees of the information services of the National Guard systems. It should be noted that more than 100 TV materials were sent to the organizing committee of the competition.
The winners of the competition were determined by a panel of judges, which included specialists from the National Guard, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, as well as the National Television and Radio Company.
The award ceremony was attended by the Deputy Commander of the National Guard, Colonel S.Mamayusupov, and stressed the relevance of this topic.
After that, the results of the competition were announced. Thus, the honorable 1st place was won by the Press Service of the National Guard Directorate for the city of Tashkent, the 2nd place was taken by the Information Service of the "Protection" Department of the National Guard of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the 3rd place was taken by the Information Service of the National Guard Directorate for the Ferghana region. The winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas of 1, 2, 3 degrees and valuable gifts.
Along with this, employees of the information services of the departments of "Protection" of the Andijan, Navoi regions and the city of Tashkent were encouraged, whose works were recognized as the best in the nominations "Best video", "Best broadcast, video (documentary) film", "Best TV show, reportage".
The event ended with festive songs performed by the National Guard Song and Dance Ensemble.
