The "Zakovat" Arena in our capital hosted a tournament of the same name dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the founding of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and January 14 – Defenders of the Motherland Day. 55 teams from among the military personnel and employees of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministries of Internal Affairs, Defense, Emergency Situations and Border Troops of the State Security Service, the Customs Committee, as well as teams of veterans, cadets and students of military educational institutions took part. The "Zakovat" tournament began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Then the start of the games was given, consisting of 3 rounds, in each of which 12 questions were asked to the participants. Each team demonstrated incredible zeal for victory, trying to answer questions clearly and correctly.
14 teams representing the National Guard took part in the competition and gained extensive experience. During the tournament, which was held in the spirit of healthy competition and friendliness, patriotic songs were performed by song and dance ensembles of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Guard. Along with this, demonstration performances by cadets of the University of Public Safety gave special emotions.
