At the initiative of the Traffic Safety Department of the Department of Internal Affairs of Ferghana region and the Directorate of Protection, another preventive event was held with the participation of personnel. The speakers informed the audience about the latest changes and additions to the rules of the road, told about the main points that should be paid attention to when driving, as well as about the factors leading to road accidents and methods of their elimination.
The experts also stressed the importance of observing the established speed limit, driving a vehicle in a sober state and the serviceability of vehicles. At the end of the event, videos were shown illustrating serious situations that arise as a result of road accidents, and detailed answers were given to participantsʼ questions.
A similar event was held with the participation of employees of the Gulistan intercity Protection Department of the Directorate of Protection of Syrdarya region. Specialists of the regional traffic police department of the Internal Affairs Directorate particularly emphasized the importance of observing precautionary and safety measures when driving personal and official transport, driving vehicles only with the appropriate documents, and also spoke about the main reasons for the increased incidence of unintentional road accidents.
