Sambo competition for the championship of the National Guard took place on the basis of the National Guard Department for Khorezm region.

During three days more than 150 servicemen and employees in 19 teams from regional departments and military units fought for victory in 7 weight categories.

Absolutely every athlete who took to the mat, demonstrated strength and skills in this video sport, as well as demonstrated incredible zeal for victory.

According to the results of spectacular and exciting competitions, the 3rd place was won by the team of the Main Directorate of “Protection”, the 2nd place - by the team of the military unit located in Tashkent region. Honorable 1st place was awarded to the National Guard Department for Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas, medals and cups. Of course, such competitions play an important role in popularizing this sport among young people, identifying talented athletes and defending the honor of our homeland in international arenas.
