Zhuraev Shukhrat, an ordinary member of Almalyk city department of "Protection" of the Directorate of "Protection"of Tashkent region, took part in the Muay Thai World Championship in Bangkok and won a gold medal.

Our athlete, who competed in the 71 kg weight category, won 3 fights against representatives of India, Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
In the prestigious competition of the year among masters of leather gloves from 54 countries, our comrade took a worthy part and secured the victory.
Recall that Sh. Juraev is a five–time winner of competitions in various types of martial arts, a nine-time winner of international championships, 21 times climbed to the top of the podium at prestigious Asian and republican competitions.
