A few days ago, a competition for the kurash championship among law enforcement officers of Surkhandarya region took place in the Alpomish sports complex in Termez city.
More than 100 wrestlers from among the employees of the National Guard, the Directorate of "Protection", the State Security Service, the Department of Internal Affairs, the Customs Department, a separate battalion to ensure security at the international airport "Termez", Border Troops, the Department of Transport Security took part in the region. The participants fought for victory in the weight categories 66, 73, 81, 90, 100 and 100+ kg. The course of the competition was monitored and evaluated by qualified sports coaches.
According to the results of the spectacular competition, the first place was won by the national team of the Department of Internal Affairs of the region, the second place was taken by the national team of the Border Troops of the State Security Service, the third place was taken by the guards of the Directorate of "Protection". The winners and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas, medals and memorable gifts from the Surkhandarya Regional Council of the Society of Physical Culture and Sports "Dynamo" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
