Within the framework of the national project "Yashil Makon", aimed at improving the environmental situation in the country, large-scale work is underway to plant tree plantations. This initiative goes beyond just gardening: It lays the foundations for a sustainable ecological future, contributing to air purification, strengthening the soil layer and preserving biological diversity.

Employees of the Directorate of Protection of Syrdarya region are also actively involved in the implementation of the project, demonstrating how local government structures are becoming the driving force behind environmental transformations. Special attention should be paid to the work of the Gulistan Inter—city Department of Protection, which implemented a significant local project - the creation of a "Green Belt" on a vacant site in the Ishonch mahalla.

The project implementation process was carried out in accordance with agrotechnical requirements. First, the specialists carried out a comprehensive landscaping of the territory: they cleared the area, planned the landing zones and prepared the systems for subsequent irrigation. Then they began to carefully cultivate the soil — it was plowed, enriched with fertilizers and brought to an optimal state for rooting plants. At the final stage, seedlings of various types of poplars were planted. These trees were not chosen by chance: they are characterized by rapid growth, are well adapted to the local climate and have a pronounced ability to purify the air.
